Delivery and Returns
Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery:
Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched, depending on the brand and if your item is a bespoke made to order item the lead times can vary. With larger items we’ll send you an email or call to book a delivery slot that suites you and for smaller items your tracking details will be sent by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 10 working days, please reach out to us via email at info@gardenlifestores.com so that we can help.
Current Delivery Times:
Power Sheds current delivery time is 4-5 weeks and free delivery to Northen Ireland best to call or email us to check if you qualify for free delivery if you live in Ireland. Republic of Ireland shipping from £125
Shire delivery times vary per product and the lead time of each item is stated in the description of the product, free U.K mainland delivery.
Rowlinson current lead times are 14-28 days free U.K mainland delivery.
Damages:
We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@gardenlife.com so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.
Returning Branded items:
Asgard Returns Policy:
Asgard complies with the current distance selling regulations for the UK. By law you have the right to return your Asgard product within 14 working days of receipt of your Asgard product.
Please note there is ALWAYS a 30% (of the original order value) restocking/collection fee for returning an Asgard product. This sum will automatically be deducted from any refund issued.
You will be responsible for ensuring the product is returned in a saleable condition.
If you feel the product was delivered damaged in anyway, simply inform our delivery team who will remove or replace any damages.
If you notice damages after delivery, please photograph the damages. You should NOT construct the unit if you feel the product is badly damaged.
We will not accept images of damaged fully built units as proof of a damaged delivery.
If we find the unit has been damaged and is not suitable for resale, you will be charged accordingly (up to 90%) of the order value. This charge will be at the discretion of Asgard Customer Services and is not negotiable.
Any damages to the product will be deducted from any refund issued.
Power Returns Policy:
If Power is not for you and you’d like to return your shed within 14 days of delivery, then we will collect the item from you without charging a collection fee. No fuss, no fees!
All we ask is that you do not unpack the shed or take the shed off the pallet. You will be able to see the shed panels on the pallet if you want to double check the quality of the shed panels.
You need to notify us at gardenlifestores.com of your wish to cancel your order within this time period.
If you have unpacked the shed or taken the shed off the pallet, then you can still return the product to us but you will have to cover the cost of returning the item. This will either need to be through arranging the delivery yourself (to our manufacturing unit in West Yorkshire) or repacking and securing the goods back onto the pallet and we can arrange a pallet delivery for you. The cost of this will depend on your location and the item bought – please contact us if you would like us to advise the cost of this. In this case we will not profit from any courier charges but simply pass on the cost we receive to you.
Any delivery surcharges you have paid (such as a quicker delivery, Saturday delivery, or a timed delivery) will not be refunded.
Once your item has been returned it will be checked to ensure it is complete and in a resellable condition. If we deem that the product is not in a resellable condition we shall deduct a reasonable amount to cover any costs to use or return them to you.
Where a refund is to be paid we will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Shire Returns Policy:
You may return any item within 14 days of delivery for any reason whatsoever (unless the product is bespoke).
Please send us an email and request a return. We would be grateful if you would let us know the reason for the return.
For us to accept a return and issue a full refund you must not have treated or altered the building in any way.
We would ask that you keep the goods in good condition and that they are returned in the same condition as when they were delivered.
Goods that were delivered flat packed must be returned in the same condition including complete disassembly. Care must be taken to ensure that Goods returned are packed well to avoid damage or loss in transit.
Goods returned which cannot be sold as new due to damage or wear and tear may be subject to a reduction in the refunds given.
You will be able to go on line and book a convenient day for collection, exactly as you did for the delivery.
Bespoke Buildings
If you decide to cancel after production has commenced you will be liable for the cost of work to the date of cancellation.
If you cancel after the building has been despatched you will be liable for the cost of the building and the return cost, unless the building is incorrect, faulty or substantially damaged on delivery resulting in the building being unfit for purpose. For minor damage replacement parts will be despatched.
Charges for Cancellation?
In certain situations a charge may be levied for the collection of cancelled goods. Shire does not profit from any such charges and they are levied as the direct cost for the collection of the goods. If there is a charge for collection, we will notify you as soon as possible. Any charges are retained from the refund returned to customers.
Refunds
We will process refunds within 30 days.
Keter Sheds Returns Policy:
1) The User may cancel the transaction for purchasing a product from the date of making the transaction and up to seven (7) days from the date of receiving the product;
2) The User may not cancel a transaction for the purchase of goods that were manufactured especially for the User following the transaction.
Cancellation of a transaction must be done by means of a written notice to the email address of the Website's operations manager, whose address is: info@gardenlifestores.com
After receipt of the notice of cancellation of a transaction as stated above, gardenlifestores shall refund to the User, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the notice of cancellation, that part of the price of the transaction that was paid by the User and shall not charge the User any amount other than the costs of returning the goods to Keter. If the User receives the product, before the transaction is canceled by them, User will arrange for the product to be returned to Keter, at their own expense, according to the details that will be given to them (in case of cancellation of the transaction due to defect or non-compatibility the return will be at Keter's expense).
The product shall be returned, to the extent possible or reasonable, in its original packaging and without any use, complete and without damage and/or harm.
Cancellation of the transaction by Garden Life Stores. Garden Life Stores will be entitled to cancel all or part of a transaction.
Rowlinsons Returns Policy and Delivery Information:
Customers can request a collection or exchange of a product if the request is received by Rowlinson Garden Products within 28 days of delivery, providing that the product is returned as sold. The product must not be assembled, or prepared (i.e painted) and must be in it original packaging. Rowlinson require written conformation via email for any collection, exchange or order cancellation.
- Customers should be made aware that the product is a self-assembly item and will be delivered in kit form. Instructions for assembly will be enclosed with the products.
- Confirmation is required that the customer understands that the delivery to their property will be made to the nearest point that is adjacent to the roadway and clear of obstruction. Carriers will not move product around or through the property.
- Our carrier will contact the customer by telephone prior to delivery to confirm details and agree a suitable delivery date.
- All dates quoted for either delivery or contact are approximate. Rowlinson Garden Products will not accept any liability for any delay in delivery for any reason.
- PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries are to UK mainland only.
- Deliveries are made on Monday – Friday only (No weekend deliveries).
- Delivery times are between 8a.m. and 6 p.m. No specific time of day can be given.
- Customers must be available to check and sign for the delivery except when Rowlinson Garden Products have received written confirmation from the customer that the item can be left without a signature.
Norfolk Leisure and Keter Furniture Policy:
If an item is damaged or faulty Norfolk Leisure will send out replacement parts, Norfolk leisure items are non refundable unless an item is faulty and no replacement parts can be issued. In this instance a refund will be given.
